Bob

We live, we learn, we grow. Calling this event a wake is very appropriate, as with the death of a company you have invested significant time, energy, financial resources and maybe even a piece of your soul in, there is a period of mourning. Not equivalent to the loss of a loved one, but a true feeling of loss and regret and for most of us who have experienced this, a sense of personal failure. Hopefully this sharing will be therapeutic for you and your experience will be of benefit to others striving to find success with their startups. Those who seek success above the status quo will always find failures along the path. Those who never fail, never really try to reach beyond the easy things to grasp. As my favorite old skiing T-shirt said, "No falls, No balls." Learn from the past and look forward my friend, it is simply time for the next adventure. :-)
