It looks like Steve Jobs leaned in and took one for his early adopter customers. I was just on Apple's site looking for some support, and stumbled across a letter from Steve offering some $$ to early iPhone purchasers (like myself) who felt a bit put out after yesterday's $200 price drop. Nice move Steve.
