February. Short month. Lots of travel.
My goals were to hit at least 50 miles, with a stretch goal of 55 miles, and a super-stretch goal of 60 miles. I also wanted to maintain a sub-10 minute pace.
Well, I managed to do 51.17 miles in February, at a 9:14 min pace. I was happy with the pace but not with the mileage total.
In retrospect, I had a strong start of the month and achieved the vast majority of the miles by mid-month, but managed to over-train again and re-injure the splenic flexure that I had injured last month, which knocked me down for 10 days, from the 16th of the month to the 26th.
So what did I learn? Well, obviously I overdid it at the beginning of the month, so I need to slow down and pace myself. I think I will incorporate some cross-training and focus less on pace/distance, and more time in developing 'core-strength'. It'll be a bit of a step back from my type-A drive to achieve, but will be better for long-term stamina and strength.
And the counter resets anew.
Hi Christian,
It's Francois from the French Cisco Users Group.
Can you give me the name of the tool you use for your training roundup ?
Cheers,

Francois,
This is just a cropped screen capture from the Nike+ site (the interface between the Nike+iPod sport kit). The site works really well.

We need to talk, my friend, about your training routine. You need to build in plenty of strength and non-skeletal impact training to ensure you don't ruin yourself in pursuit of a worthy goal. If you push to hard on running without equal build up of supporting muscles you will become a frustrated and defeated runner.
Think Zen, grasshopper. Master the whole not just the one attribute. By doing so, you will go further and faster. And not become hobbled in the process.

If you are willing to buy a car, you would have to receive the mortgage loans. Furthermore, my brother always takes a auto loan, which supposes to be the most reliable.
