My father called the other night to inform me that my blog had degenerated into a running-log of my training habits, in sharp contrast to earlier, weightier posts.
Guilty as charged.
It was a good day running today, and received lots of friendly encouragement over email and IM,as well as a cheerful prayer that I suffer from some non-serious illness that prevents me from running 50 miles in January.
Run baby, run! Remember no more than 10% increase per week staves off those injuries. You appear to be in the advanced stages of being hooked. Good on ya, mate.

Hey Madman!
I don't think there is any danger of injury right now unless it's the sprint-5Ks I have been doing for breakfast each morning. I should be at about 25 miles a week right now, but am lingering at 15-20 the last few weeks. I'll see if I can get out more in the chilly outdoors and log some real miles so I don't bonk on you when we do some outdoor trail runs in NoCal!
Best, C

You mean Special-K's for breakfast, right? ;-) No worries, my friend, I'm doing 20's right now. This week, I'll move up to 25 but peak will only be 35 even as I prep for the 40K/50K run/bike. You'll be more than prepped for our run!
